It may surprise you to find out that the Brooklyn Bridge is indeed for sale, at least virtually.

A visit to brooklynbridge.org lists it as a domain address offered for sale in the virtual real estate market, available for an unspecified price.

Several Long Island addresses are also up for grabs.

Al Triolo of Commack owns LI.com and said he has received a $500,000 bid through broker Sedo.com, a domain name broker that lists li.com as its most desirable of the 8 million addresses in its portfolio.

Welcome to the first post of my blog.  As with the first post on any blog, this one is nothing special.  I just want to give you a heads up on what is up and coming for this blog:

1. Expiring domain Q&A - Basically, you can write in about a type of domain you are looking for and I will post the number of expiring domains of that type that are about to expire along with some other interesting data on them and a few examples.  For instance, let us say you wanted to know about domains about OpenSource software (I love Linux).  I will post that there are 300 domains expiring in the next 5 days with the word "source" in them and one of them is a PageRank 5 domain, which is a pretty great domain.   I will not do this for every email I receive, but I will for a few of them.

2. Updates - I will be posting new features and benefits that come with WebAddressLive membership.  For example, on 7-29-07 I added a new benefit whereby all members can register for $12.55 domain backorders.

3. Freebies and Tools - I write a lot of free software and eBooks that I give away with resale rights.  I will be posting them to this blog so users can download them and use them, resell them, or do whatever they would like with them.

4. Personal Stuff and Interesting News - If anyone cares, I may also be posting some personal stuff or vacation pics.  Just so I don't come across as some random guy on the internet.  Also, I will be posting interesting news stories, but keep in mind that I am a computer geek so a lot of it may be from SlashDot.org.

Anyway, I hope this works out well and people enjoy this blog.
