Hmmm, I just thinking that ebay has been slow for my doll sales lately....Actually, there haven't been that many OOAK Kelly's on ebay. Is it just that time of year when everyone has "going back to school" on their mind? I try not to get too depressed when my dolls don't sell, it's hard though when you put yourself out there and are rejected....I don't think I could ever be a professional actor...being an artist is hard enough...

Well I need to get back to work and create some more dolls... or do I?

I started painting again today. 2 out of 3 ain't bad....2 look pretty good, the other one is just not working. I really like her hair and I have an awesome outfit for  her...the eyes on this doll are not turning out the way I want. I guess I'll just get back to it and as Tim  would say:
"make it work!"

BTW...Have I mentioned that I'm a HUGE Project Runway Fan :)

 I haven't posted much lately....that's because I haven't really felt like painting. I have been crocheting but I just can't get motiviated to paint. I do have some new ideas though so hopefully that will get the creative juices flowing and I will pull out the paint.

I did  clean out my doll room. It's still in process but you can walk in the room now :)

The pink haired girl has been put on hold. I'm working on a new outfit, 2 piece pants and top. I have a couple of swaps that I need to finish and I have 2 dolls that I've had for close to year that I need to work on...so many dolls, so little time.

I'm  excited about the new outfit. It's black and white and the top will be something I haven't made before. You gotta love a challenge :) Okay. I need to work. I want to get the outfit finished so I can list it tomorrow or Saturday..

I had to start over on her for the 3rd time.  Some dolls are easy, some are troublesome.  Her eyes have been blocked in yet again. I started working on some outfits just to get away and rethink this doll. I find that if focus on other things, the solution will just come to me in an unexpected way. So back to work on the crocheted outfits for now...I'm still waiting for my muse.
