I'll start us off. Has anyone noticed the trend of game companies to go from assemble-it-yourself miniatures to pre-painted plastics? More and more companies are going this route, and I for one think it's terrible. It's all well and good for companies to broaden their market by appealing to younger gamers, but is it worth it at the risk of alienating the core, older players, who are in the hobby in large part for the artistic aspect? I see companies like Rackham moving from amazing traditional pewter models to pre-painted plastics, and I for one will not be buying Confrontation 4th edition.
