Most Recent Posts Clever advertising or something else?Posted 11-May-08 11:58:30 BST It is with great amusement that we watch the antics of some other sellers on eBay, their claims that other sellers aren’t selling genuine articles, do they really think they are the only people that can purchase and import from across the ‘pond’?
They have buying guides were they basically malign other sellers; how they claim to be the best sellers on eBay, honestly it is hilarious!
They make a big song and dance about their items being genuine and original as they are in retail packaging etc. the rest of the world is trying to be ‘green’ and remove excess packaging as it is just wasteful, so ask yourself do you want to pay extra just to throw away the packaging?
Behaviour of some sellers begs the question ‘clever advertising or misleading selling?’ just to inflate prices, we in Britain pay enough for everything the phrase ‘Rip Off Britain’ springs to mind, buyers you have the choice not be mislead! Thank you for the feedbackPosted 06-Jul-07 17:27:54 BST We must just say a big thank you, to all the marvellous people who have bought our new Catnip Wraps and Catnip OctoSpiders, and left such positive feedback, a selection of their comments below:

Our aim is to offer a wide product portfolio, coupled with the best prices, we hope you can find something you like at the right price. It's an interesting place, this ebayPosted 03-Jul-07 05:43:28 BST We hope you like our listings and particularly our photos and images, we put a lot of work into creating our own, it amazes us how many people just acquire someone else’s pictures. Talking of which, I’m sure that is supposed to be against the eBay rules.
Often we have suspicions that people list things they haven’t even got to sell, just to test the market, then quickly source some if their listing sells. None of that here, if we haven’t got it we can’t photograph it; hence we won’t try and sell it.
Whilst on the suspicious minds vain, could some sellers be listing quantities far in excess of what stock they actually have, perhaps to make their businesses appear larger than they really are?
