My Penny Ante this week is an adorable little angel that plugs into your string of mini-lights so her candle lights up. I got her at a garage sale but she is like new -- no stains, fading, or other defects as far as I can see. Her head is bisque china and beautifully detailed. The skin tone is actually more brown than the pic shows, and the hair pattern is tight curls like an Afro. I think she is supposed to be African American, although the features look more Caucasian. Doll makers have a habit of just changing the color to represent different races. Then again, she could be mixed race. At any rate, she's not your typical European blue-eyed blonde angel, and will add some nice diversity to your decorations.
