McCAIN SLIDING IN THE POLLS

Looks like McCain is his own worst enemy. Obama should simply set back during this last and final debate and let John put the last nail in his own coffin. Obama continues to draw increasing support from Replublicans also.

FOOD PRICES RISE AND CONTAINERS SHRINK

Semms like consumers get hit twice when shopping as first you have to deal with the continuing price increases and if that isn't enough, everything you buy is shrinking in size. Most mayo is no longer 32 ounces, they have shrinked to 30 ounce jars and tuna has gone from a 7 ounce can  to 6 ounce can just to name a couple I purchased what I thought was a pound of meat last week only to find that it was now being packaged in a 12 ounce size. One of my favorites is the laundry detergent scam that marketers have going. Most laundry detergent is now packaged in much smaller containers and billed as ultra concentrate, 2 times the strength or half the size, still same number of loads crap. One brand even bills their smaller containers as an easy to carry size. I don't know about you but I don't seem to be using any less. As I matter of fact, I am buying it more often now.

PRE ELECTION GAS PRICES

Do you think gas prices will continue to fall after the election?

EBAYS NEW PAYMENT RESTRICTIONS (IT'S NOT ABOUT CHOICES ANYMORE)

By now probably everyone has received this message from Ebay enlightening us on the new payment changes coming by the end of October. I would appreciate having choices as to how my buyers pay for items. I receive many Postal Money Orders and Cashiers Checks and have never had a problem with them. This change will discourage the participation of indiviuals who are skeptical in regards to the security of online transactions and prefer to pay with the soon to be extinct paper method. I think it is important to honor buyer payment choices. Of course you also have to understand that when someone pays by the paper method, the seller does not get charged for a money transfer by Paypal which is a plus for the seller especially when some of your items only sell for .99 cents. Eliminating the paper payment method simply ensures that Ebay gets a percentage of each and every transaction. Don't get me wrong, Ebay does have some good reasoning behind this change and it does benefit both sellers and buyers but I feel that payment methods should be left totally to the discretion of the people that have made Ebay one of the most successful businesses on the internet, the buyers and sellers.

Bush's Low Approval Ratings

If I had this low of a performance rating, I would not have a job so why is Bush still in office. I will never understand politics. I think we have all had enough of this current administration and Republican "Rule" in general. It has been 8 long hard years. Many in New York State as well as all over this great country of ours will be forced to choose between putting food on the table and keeping warm this winter while tax breaks for the rich and hundreds of billions in bailout money for failing financial institutions continue. Their priorities are definately not in order. Put your faith in the Democratic party this November for a much needed change for the better!
