Most Recent Posts The cure for the shoe obsessive!Posted 27-Apr-08 11:53:56 BST With all honesty, I never saw myself as a shoe obsessive, until moving house! When my partner complained that there was no room in the wardrobe for him to put his things in! I of course denied the fact I had too many shoes, until he laid them all out for me to sort into piles of shoes I wear and ones I have never worn. This was the scary moment when I saw the pile of un-worn shoes growing ever bigger!!
I had to concede and agreed to sell the un-worn shoes on ebay to appease my partner.
It was strange seeing all my beautiful dress shoes, stilettos that were ridiculously high, sparkly sandals and so on,being sold off one by one. However, the buzz I got from selling them far outshone the buying buzz! How wierd is that?!
The demand for beautiful cheaper than high street shoes was big, and I decided to try out opening an ebay shop, once I had enough feedback,View My Feedback (yes, ok. A feeble excuse to buy in large quantities of shoes!)
I spent days sourcing the cheapest and best wholesalers and factories and haven't looked back since!
I now have my little shop that is doing really well, and stocking allsorts of fashion shoes, giving everyone the chance to have the fashion items at a fairer price than the high street can offer.
So if any shoe obsessives like myself are out there reading this, then the only advice I can give to you is........ buying and selling is far more fun than just buying! (although just buying shoes is still great!) |
