Most Recent Posts PayPal Disputes Policy StinksPosted 03-Jan-08 15:47:49 GMT I won a hifi unit. It arrived damaged due to bad internal packing. The seller refused to take it back. The Post Offices said there was no visible damage on the outside and would not pay compensation. PayPal said I could return it for a full refund BUT I had to pay the cost of return to Germany of £48 leaving me out of pocket by £48 through no fault of mine. Do you think this policy is fair? I think it deserves ridicule. I asked PayPal to obtain the cost of repair. They refused. Do you think they were correct? Why should the seller be protected in this way? |
