I love Spain especialy Guardamar del Segura which is where my apartment is on the Costa Blanca.I am off on the 3rd July for a quick week before my main holiday in August.Guardamar is the perfect place to chill out. If you want hustle and bustle Alicante or Torrevieje are only 30 and 10 minutes away. The beautiful town of Guardamar is the perfect setting and the ideal base for any holiday.

When in Guardamar I allways take a walk through the pine forest which is only a 5 minute walk from my apartment.The scenery is fantastic the walk through the forest also takes you down to the sand dunes and Guardamars fantastic blue flag beaches in about 15 minutes.Sometimes I walk down the river which is opposite my apartment.The walk down the river takes you to the country park and the beautiful Marina here there is a bar where you can have a drink or stop for lunch €5.

From the Marina I like to walk onto the sand dunes and onto the pier and walk out to sea the views are fantastic.Then I walk the lenghth of the beach and down into the town and to the main promenade. This walk gives you an appetite for the brilliant selection of bars, cafes and restaurants that are on offer.You can view Guardamar on my website
