OK. Two years ago, before I got married (I was apparently having some sort of crisis) I traded in my SUV for a sports car. I bought it at the height of summer, and while it was fun to drive for about the first 4 months, I have never regretted a purchase more. Don't get me wrong, it's a great car - and would be great for a college student or bachelor(ette) but completely impractical for my life! But it sure is cute! LOL (I'm finding, now that I am a little older and slightly more settled... cute's not nearly as important as comfort and function. My husband has officially welcomed me to adulthood.) History aside...

I am in the market for a Jeep Liberty, in the '03 - '05 range. Thought this might be a handy forum to reach out to Liberty drivers.... I see them everywhere, so I know you're out there! Do you love them? Do you hate them? Any major concerns or complaints? It is not uncommon to find trade ins around the 50,000 mile mark... is there something that occurs around that mark? I hear they have a nice warranty package. So, if anyone has any insight,  I am doing a little "word of mouth" research before making a purchase. :)

AND... if anyone has successfully sold a vehicle on eBay motors (and had a good experience!) I might want to hear from you too. That might be an option for the car.....

If anyone is interested, it's a 2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT, burgandy, 2 dr, all leather, all power, A/T w sportronic trans feature, premium sound, new center channel, AM/FM/Cassette/4 disc changer, sun/moon roof & alloys, new fuel pump & timing belt, 107,000 miles. I went with my best girlfriend last night to see Imogen Heap, with Kid Beyond and Levi Weaver. One of the BEST shows I have ever seen! Very small, intimate venue (about 1200 people, sold out show) - which is the only way to see her. A very visual & energetic artist, one you must see live to truly "experience". A unique blend of electronica & vocal looping, supported by classic piano and beautiful, sometimes haunting vocals. If you are a life long fan, or just discovering Imogen's music, I would definitely suggest catching her on tour. You will fall in love with her all over again! It was also great exposure for the other two artists - I came home and immediately ordered Kid Beyond's CD online.

Sure to please electronica (and pop and alternative and indie) fans...

Last time she will be touring for a while, as she is going back into the studio. Catch her now if you can!!

I just have to say... HAVE TO... that The Black Parade (My Chemical Romance) is the BEST CD released in 2006!! Maybe MCR's best release to date as well. Not only does their raw passion and pure talent make me tear up on a couple of tracks, I blew a couple of speakers in my car. It's really just that good.

 Even if you aren't a fan - or just wonder what all the hype is about - check it out. It will draw you in immediately. Undoubtedly a classic.

and... CD's make GREAT stocking stuffers!! Your teens will love you!! ;)
