Most Recent Posts Love or Lust; Which is the most powerful emotion?Posted 03-Aug-08 18:22:48 BST Updated 03-Aug-08 18:23:10 BST If love is so powerful and so real. Then why is it that wives cheat on their husbands, and husbands cheat on their wives? If love were so true to the extent that romantics make it out to be; then love would keep spouses from having affairs and as we all know in most cases it doesn't. Also I know when I'm in love and when I'm in lust, but have you ever wanted someone so badly that you just have to have them no matter what the consequences. If you find yourself having fantasies about that woman at work or that guy at the gym more often than not; chances are you've fallen into lust. And could you truly say ,that if the opportunity arose for you to have that person, that you wouldn't hop right into the sack with them. I know love is powerful, but lust is powerful too; I would really appreciate another opinion on the matter. Rick Spiderman Vs Batman the Dark Knight; What Did You Think About the Movies?Posted 03-Aug-08 16:11:06 BST Who do you think would win in a fight? A true test of wits and skills. I mean they both swing from buildings. How Batman gets to the top of some of these sky scrapers; I just don't know. Does he take the elevator or what? Anyway, I know that both Spidey and the Dark Knight are super strong, but I would have to say that Spiderman is stronger because of the whole radioactive spider thing. So if they stood in front of each other and went blow for blow. The neighborhood friendly Spider would probably knock the Dark Knight on his ass; however, we know that the fight wouldn't happen that way. Also while Spiderman has his web slinging and swinging abilities; the Dark Knight has a ton of gadgets and he seems to be more clever than Spiderman. At any rate just wanted to get another opinion on the matter. All I know is that the Dark Knight crushed Spiderman 3 at the Box Office. So what did you think about Batman the Dark Knight? I loved Heath Ledger as the Joker, definitely best villian of the year, and the American Psycho (Patrick Bateman or Batman) has really turned his life around. I mean he went from taking lives to saving them. Oh, and the controversy surrounding the movies actors. Heath Ledger is now, sadly, deceased and the big companies were really pushing that last performance thing in their ads; I mean all you ever saw in the previews was the Joker. Also does anyone know if the actor Christian Bale actually struck his mother? I kinda doubt it.
Rick What happened to creativity when action figures were video games and movies/Posted 28-Jul-08 03:28:04 BST When I was younger kids really had great imaginations; whatever happened to making a fort out of a blanket and two chairs. Or getting your friends together and playing "war" with your Star Wars action figures; or any action figures for that matter. We didn't need movies because we could make up an entire story and develope every character in that story with just our imaginations and a few action figures. Nowadays, kids sit on the couch and get fat playing video games. So have video games killed imagination and creativity the way video killed the radio star. I certainly hope not; however I can't help but notice the fact that Toys R Us is empty and falling apart when I drop in, and the few customers I see there are older people; where the hell are the children. Then I go down to Game Stop and not only are their stores well kept, but they're packed with young and older customers. I say down with Rick |
