Most Recent Posts Boston SEO for High TechPosted 14-Jan-08 01:41:10 GMT Updated 14-Jan-08 01:47:25 GMT It can be hard to stand out in the SEO crowd
these days. If your like me and work in the high-tech space, it's hard not to
run into someone who claims to knows the best keywords or who thinks they know
every SEO trick in the book. In order to really discern a good SEO from someone
who thinks they are an SEO look at the context in which they have worked. For example, I have worked in the technology space for over 10 years in both technical and marketing roles and have learned that each company is different and unique. Even if they are both IT asset management companies, the context in which they operate is very different. There are a host of things (which I won't talk about here) that make them different even though they compete with one another. As an SEO'r it's imperative that we understand these differences and refrain from a one size fits all approach to our craft. That's why I've taken a different approach and stick to what I know best, - High Tech. While there are many Boston SEO Consultants, I work within the high tech sphere only. This allows me to deep dive and apply SEO/SEM strategies that make sense. B2B Web sites operate differently than B2C sites, and proper SEO for these should apply. If you're interested in learning more, read my blog. I like to review random high tech companies in the Boston area, and let them know how they can improve their SEO efforts. Thanks for reading.
