Most Recent Posts Another Tuesday - 14 Days till XmasPosted 11-Dec-07 11:57:31 GMT Blimey, only 14 days to go till Xmas is upon us again and the inevitable slump in January on the eBay market, so I will try and get as many listings completed over the next week in order to provide postage before the big day. After taking receipt of loads of stock for my new eBay store I am now in a position to create a huge inventory of items and listings, enough hopefully to interest eBayers on a regular basis. It seems likely that I will focus on books as well as video games & consoles. I will continue to stock CD's and DVD's at bargain prices, as with everything in the store. On a personal note, I am currently undergoing Chemo for a soft tissue cancer and have been since August 2007 and yesterday I was subjected to my 6th Cycle and I can't believe that I am as active as I am today, compared to every other Cycle that I have experinced. I can only put it down to keeping myself busy with eBay and the shop. My main aim with the shop is to provide a second income as all that we are receiving at present is a few forms of benefit, which the government are so kindly donating to us - joke. I have always wanted to run my own entertainment store and now thanks to eBay I have the chance to do so, and from my own home. Today is TuesdayPosted 20-Nov-07 15:48:24 GMT Over the last two days I have spent about £700 on stock to fill the shelves of my newly revamped eBay shop, LFC BARGAINS DVDS CDS GAMES BOOKS. I did tell the missus that I would only spend a few hundred pounds, but I guess I got carried away. I have bought job lots of books, DVD's, CD's and console games and this will form the basis of my store. The title of my store refers to two things; firstly, my favourite football team Liverpool Football Club and secondly, I believe that people should be able to purchase goods on-line at a low fare cost, hence LFC BARGAINS DVDS CDS GAMES BOOKS. I have always wanted to manage HMV or something similar (not my only ambition by the way), simply because the stuff that they sell is the stuff that I know the most about. I love my music, I am a film buff and in my spare time I enjoy reading and playing on games consoles especially the WII and PSP. If I was ever going to sell anything on eBay it was always going to be entertainment goods, and despite the fierce competition I have not been put off, in fact I am now more driven to succeed. |
