My name is Mark and this is my first Blog.I work in the film industry as a Set Decorator but since I am now over 65 I am hoping to do less and less....
I have moved to Budapest from the U.K. and I love it here...I have an apartment that overlooks the Danube and the Parliament building and is in the Shadow of the Palace set on the hill on the Buda side...
The night time view is to die for...My balcony faces down the river to the famous Chain Bridge and an illuminated Bridge and a glass of wine illuminates the soul too..
The language !!!! Now the language ....I didm not know what 'the language barrier' meant until I arrived here...I have been here now for about 8 months and it is a problem for me.....but I tell people I smile in every language..I am particularly adept at smiling in Hungarian....Not a lot of Hungarians smile..It is not a great smiling country...but when one gets to know them which takes a while they will smile too in my language...
I am trying to learn about jewelry making ...Silver and Amber particularly...Also with wonderful beads...I must buy more hand made beads..
I live alone here...but I am making some friends...At the moment a big movie is being made and so I have some friends from the U.K who are involved...
Do blog me if yiu wish..Is that the correct expression 'Blog me'....Well do it ...See what happens...
