This winter season is shaping up to be a doozy. Tons of gear that is totally new. Have you seen the new K2 Pontoons? Nothing better for skiing powder. I tried them at the end of last season. I was blown away. I was concerned how they would feel. Obviusly they look like they will float but how do the ski. I loved them. You can't sink the tips. Impossible. And the design allows you to ski on the groomers enough to get to the next powder stash.

Another thing that we are ready for is the wireless helmets from Giro. Expensive? yes, but worth it. No more wires and sooo easy to flip between songs without taking off your gloves. This one will sell out early this year so be fast.

The North Face has really been on the last few years. Their new snowsports stuff is sweet. Waterproof corduroy. How long have we been waiting for that? Of course Arcteryx is killing it. The best ski and snowboarding clothing in the world. The new Gore-Tex softshell fabric is a big improvement.
