Most Recent Posts School holidays!Posted 19-Aug-08 20:02:04 BST I can't believe that there's only about 2 weeks of the school holidays left....and bank holiday next week. Went to see Wall-e last week. It was a pretty cool film. My wife didn't fancy it as she had heard that there was 45 minutes without any talking (as such). Certainly didn't notice that when watching it. Really nice looking film with quite a good story. We've got some new gear coming in this week. Some new fishing stock and also some tarpaulin/covers.
More stock now in.Posted 23-Jul-08 12:54:48 BST We have spent the past week or so getting our stock levels back up. We have had deliveries of most items so are up to full availability. We are in our busiest time at the moment for most lines but are happy to say, are still delivering excellent service to our customers. Our fibreglass poles are proving to be a top seller. We have had people using them for fishing, amatuer radio and for flying kites from. Unfortunatley due to the length we can only post within the UK. Our web site is fully up and running. The worldpay problem is now sorted. The paypal problem isn't though so we have took the choice of dropping this payment option from the website. We where worried this may put off potential customers but no-one has had a problem with this. New in this week we have some aluminium crossbow bolts. Please note that metal prices seem to still be on the increase so now is a good time to buy any pellets etc that you might need for the summer. We are just finalising our environmental policy. We have always had a good internal policy but have decided to promote this as it has become an important factor for our customers. We are still unsure what we will do regarding our company car. We currently run diesel but are looking at buying an early imported Toyota Prius hybrid if we can see that the figures work on it. Also don't really want to have to buy any new hybrid parts for the car in the near future so any comments about would be greatfully received. A busy day despatching and listingPosted 10-Jul-08 13:09:24 BST Managed to get all the despatches done early today so have listed some more items. Added to our range of fishing stock today we have camo and plain soft rig wallets. These are ideal for keeping your rigs safe and in order. Also we have a camo holdall, buzz bar bag, camo rod holdall and a new 7m pole. We have also added some new listings for the 7m pole which can also be used for ham, amateur radio and also for camper and kite owners for poles. Also we have 3 new scopes list and a price reduction on one. The new stock are a 4 x 28, 4 x 32 and 3-9 x 40 mil dot range of scopes. All top quality and at the best prices. After negotiating a better price we have sliced £10 off the price of our popular 4-12 x 42 scope to just £29.99 inc mounts. We have just got our Worldpay account sorted out now so we can also accept credit cards for ebay payments. Still trying to sorted out the website with this though which seems to be broken!
