Most Recent Posts More information on feedback and fee changesPosted 10-Feb-08 19:48:55 GMT It looks like there's going to be a sellers strike from the 18th February 2008. I would like to state that I won't be taking part, eBay provides me with a virtually exclusive avenue to sell goods that I could not do by other means. I am dissapointed with their changes, and I do not believe for one minute that they are expanding the teams that deal with bad bidders, but what can we mere mortals do. I have done some maths and I think that I might just about save some money in fees, as I already offer a good service to my buyers. I can make a few tweeks to speed things up, and I'm looking at ways to let buyers understand that the costs incurred in sending an item are not just what you see on the postage label. That's it for the moment, thanks for the previous comments. Feedback changesPosted 07-Feb-08 17:51:51 GMT Well, unless you haven't heard, eBay are making some major changes to the feedback system. The most notable change is that from April / May, sellers will no longer be able to leave anything other than positive feedback for buyers. In other words, sellers will only recieve positive feedback (green dots) from buyers. There are a large number of eBay members that feel this change is unfair, you might like to have a look at the community discussion boards for more information. http://forums.ebay.co.uk/thread.jspa?threadID=1100142135. I'll update this as time goes on, thanks for reading. |
