I hope you are all well and looking forward to summer, I know I am...

One thing I do enjoy is photography, even more so when I can make the most of the beautiful sunlight to ensure the pictures capture every little detail...

This is just to let you know I have a huge collection I am currently working through, I will be listing a mini mountain of old toys most from the 1970's, some even older, most are in their original boxes, and all are in amazing condition for their age, it's like a trip down memory lane for me, many of the toys I remember from my own Childhood!

Trekkie fans.. don't go away, I have a pile of Star Trek Jumpers in Orange or light brown, all machine knitted and with the communicator on the breast, also some toys that Star Trek fans will love, amazingly in their original boxes and some look as though they've never been opened.

I still have boxes and boxes of Jewellery and a crate load of beautiful books covering everything from toy collections, Antiques and photography.

Childrens jigsaw puzzles galore, all popular cartoon characters, captain caveman yogi bear pink panther, batman and many many more

I'm sure you'll understand I haven't had time to sit and complete the puzzles, I've checked a few and they're fine so I will be listing the rest unchecked.. as my regular customers know, should there be any problems, just return them for a full refund, so if you win a puzzle and that vital last piece is missing, just let me know.

Cowboys and the Wild west?? Oh yes I have a mini rifle mountain, many of those are still in their original boxes, cap guns hand guns and many more.

Emu, I have two Emus waiting to be photographed, one still in his box, I know I loved Rod Hull and Emu as a child and I hope these two little characters will move on to a home they will be cherished.

Electronic games from the 1970's those tested so far are working one listed now looks brand new.

More Dinky, Corgi and Matchbox cars are also here waiting to be listed, I am getting through them as quickly as I can, so keep an eye out for those.

Postcards, documents, theatre programmes, military documents and photographs, I still have two huge boxfuls waiting to be listed, please be patient, as they take up less room they will be listed between the bulkier items to make a bit of room, I have an amazing album full of 1920's photographs.... Once I've had a good look through, that'll be here soon too but sometimes I just have to enjoy some of these treasures before I can pass them on.

I am delighted that a few of my customers have been from Museums from various countries.. it is so satisying knowing these things will be enjoyed by many more people for years to come.

Well that's a brief summary of some of the things to come, there's so much more but I'll never get around to getting them listed if I try and get it all here.

Thanks to all my customers who have been patiently waiting for answers to questions, I thought I'd make the most of the little

 sunshine we've had and it all started with ebay...

I have a few ponds in my garden, mostly to attract wildlife, then I started to think about owning Koi I found a wonderful

 seller on ebay who was selling Koi fry so here's where it all began. newforestkoi

New Forest Koi sold me 250 fry, I initially kept them in a small ornamental pond with just air stones and box filters

I found another great seller (aquab2006 ) selling trapdoor snails that promised to take care of the algae and they seem to be doing a pretty good job if it,

I'm well pleased

I experimented with pumps and filters but will be looking for more, as the hobby is growing daily, I got some great quality bargains from

I lost a few fish in the recent storms, but when I contacted New Forest Koi explaining my concerns, they speedily gave me good advice and I bought

 a few more youngsters from them.

So the project begins, the last week or so I've been building a pond for my fish, they are growing so fast, heres the creation in stages

I've managed to make a start on it, and I used the rich clay soil to my advantage and have smoothed the walls of the pond with the clay paste,

I have a large deep section, with stages built up one side, with a small shallow channel for plants and smaller fish.

This is how it looked yesterday

I bought some weed control fabric from trade-mart-deals 

I've covered the area in preparation for the mulch and the liner, I bought some lawn edgeing from ukgardensupplies1  as you can see it's starting to take shape nicely

I will update this as the project moves on, it's been fun planning and buying all the bits I need on ebay. so much easier than hurried decisions in a busy garden centre,

and what's even better is it's all been delivered to my door.

well it's been a beautiful day and I've spent another 2 days working on it, I bought some great recycled rubber mulch from dunweedin1 I'm hoping it'll keep the dogs away from the water.

Well thanks to my customers I now have a new shiney green star! Whoohoo!

It would have been quite uneventful, but I had a wonderful suprise this morning, a sweet little Fairy came flying over on the back of a Dolphin to help me celebrate.

Well, I still haven't managed to list all my old stock, then yesterday I took on a delivery of more, much, much more!

I'm going to be very busy for a while.

That's if I can tear myself away from a love story unfolding before me, a beautiful tale of lovers keeping in touch through the war, for amongst my stock I found a large envelope containing personal letters. Some remain, and will stay unopened. I will try to find relatives of this couple and reunite them with their Grandparents history, I will add details later in the hope someone who reads this may know of them, but for now, I must get my work done.

A wonderful mix of stock this week, from pens to perfume, handbags to historical book and some fascinating newspapers from the 1930's to the 1960's covering everything from the Kings death, to UFO's in London!

War medals, unopened perfumes, corkscrews, silver spoons, old lighters and pens still with original paperwork and boxes.

I have 100's of photographs from the 1930's upwards, from the War and Army bases to family pictures and global travels..

I could go on and on, it's such a fascinating mixed range, but I really should get listing now! :o)
