Selling on ebay

Still giving ebay a go

Opened up an ebay shop a couple of weeks ago but it didn't get any attention so I've closed it for now but may open it up again when I've got more stuff to put there and am ready to spend some money getting it noticed on ebay.

In the meantime I haven't managed to sell anything else on ebay other than a Gia a week, which is definately worth doing, though I was hoping for more.  Maybe I need to work more at it.  I hope it wasn't just that people thought my drawings were over-priced.

Have stocked up on art materials recently and am hopeful that this means that some actual work will get produced.

good morning!

for artists, you may want to consider a ME page with examples of your work and some bio about you.

and ACEO's are a great way to break-into getting your name out there

Hi. It takes a while for people to recognize new things. I felt when I started on ebay thing would boom, but to my surprise it did not. patience is the key..It doesn't matter How much you have; is it what people are looking for.

Just post them leave them up as long as you can..someone will see them and buy them .
I had some paintings I was selling last year..If they like your work they will buy a lot of them..
I sold all of my New Orelans paintings that I had collected..Some of them went to 100% charity for Hurricae Katrina Funding.
I also sold some paintings of a local Denver artist and the buyer was a local pickup..so that worked out well.
Stick with it..2 weeks is not long enough.

linnieb ..a lot of times people are not looking for a particular "thing" when it comes to art.
If something strikes them when they see a painting ..they will buy it ..art is different than just "regular" products..

I'm stopping my auctions just for the summer. I've noticed that although people are still looking and watching, they are not bidding. It's downright depressing but good luck to you!
