Lots of fun today when an irate collector of 78rpm records put a broken record on ebay with a start price of £50,000 and buy it now of £1 million.  This was his way of telling the world about his bad experience of receiving a broken record in the post as a result of poor packing.   His listing sparked off a long discussion among fellow collectors, all of us having had the same experience.   To avoid these problems, if you are a seller, do read my helpful guide to packing 78rpm records.
