Major postal disruptions

We are in the middle of the worst disruptions to postal services by striking workers in years.  There is currently a two week period of strike action taking place, with different departments of the postal service affected on different days.  This not only affects the actual days that the strikes are carried out, but it also seems to be creating a massive backlog of parcels in many areas.  More and  more people are complaining of slow delivery, items not being received etc.
Please be patient when buying items from eBay or other mail order sites, as the sellers are doing their best to get your items to you, but due to circumstances completely beyond their control, many are experiencing delays.
