I Love to sew. My Grandmother taught me to sew, by hand, at the age of 5. By the time I was 7, I was designing and sewing all my own doll clothes. In the 7th grade I took home-ec sewing and received my first sewing machine. The rest of the story - been sewing ever since and loving every minute of it. I now have the opportunity to sew anywhere from 2 to 8 hours a day.
I have a history of making anything from doll clothes to elaborite gowns. I also make dolls, stuff animals and jewelry. My favorite sewing of all is making special little girl's dresses, that let them feel beautiful and special like the precious gems they are. All my clothing, jewerly & dolls are my designs. My sewing is homemade and handcrafted with T.L.C. I love making unique dresses for everyday wear or special occasions. I aim to make items top quality, one of a kind and items you can not find in department stores. I take great pride and care in my sewing. Utmost attention is given to every detail. People who know me say I am a perfectionist. I love sewing clothing that will light up a child's eyes and you can hear people say, "how adorable." EXPERIENCE SEWER FOR OVER 45 YEARS BULLIESPosted 29-Mar-07 01:56:19 BST Updated 29-Mar-07 05:14:42 BST Bully
Is all about power. Bullies want control.
Control of their victims and the environment.
Profile of a
Bully.
Trends to be insecure people with poor or
non-existent social skills and little empathy.
A bully has fail to lean how to cope,
manage their emotions and communicate effectively.
Bully's aggression comes from an
internalized lack of insecurity, anxiety and depressions.
Bully
Since bullies are accustomed to achieving
their immediate goals by pushing others around, they don't learn how to have
genuine relationships with other people.
Instead, they internalize and blame others
for their problems. Never taking responsibility, nor learning how to care for
others.
Keep in Mind
Keep in mind the bully's aggression has
nothing to do with you, nor with anyone else.
Note
It may help you to view the bully as
emotionally crippled and sociologically hindered, so that you can see how
desperate and ineffective all his or her anger and lashing out
is.
What can you
do?
1. Ignore the behavior. This has to be done
with everyone present during the situation. Leaving the room, or area the abuse
is going on.
Repeat, repeat, and repeat as often as
necessary.
2.Get community support and all work
together in letting the bully know, it will be reported. Everyone being a
witness to the bully's actions needs to report it.
(schools, work, public places,
etc)
3. Support those that are being
bullied.
4. Let the bully know, you are not
accepting this behavior any more. Why their abuse is hurting
you.
5. Create a distraction or change the
subject.
6. Never reply or make comments that will
only edge the bully on.
Regain control
1. Recognize what is happening and that it
is the bully who has the problem.
2. Be confident and move on or out of the
bully's behavior zone.
(not my words. This info comes from my daughters phs books)
