Well lets see, just got an email from ebay saying that I haven't met my powerseller quota or some such thing and that in order to stay a powerseller I would need to make etc $$$ sells per month.

My reply? I said although it was nice while it lasted, all good things must come to an end. Well it wasn't really good now that I think about it. It kinda put more preasure on me to sell and then I couldn't think straight enough to sell anything. I actually think for a bit I panicked! What to sell? How did it happen? Now what? Holy cow, NOW WHAT? lol.

But I think I'll be glad once the powerseller symbol is gone from my life. I enjoyed selling more when it wasn't there. Then it was all about putting great outfits together for kids and just having fun shopping. When the powerseller offer came along, ofcourse I was happy, proud, excited, and most of all amazed. Couldn't believe I'd actually sold enough to be considered a powerseller. But then the preasure of staying a powerseller kicked in and I couldn't put two thoughts together when it came to selling. I started to question my taste in clothes/styles etc. It wasn't fun anymore!

Obviously I was never made to be a powerseller. lol. I give you props all you powersellers out there. It takes alot of work, concentration and commitment to stay a powerseller. I just don't have it in me. Though this is my business, it's more of a hobby then a true business. I am a true shopper. Before selling on ebay I shopped on an average week (7days) 5-6 of those days. I love shopping and with my bunch there was always something to buy, always something someone needed, something broken in the house (lol), or someone needing new clothes cuz of a growth spurt. Or if you take into account my huge family of 31 grandkids, there was always a birthday/party every month of the year. Sometimes 2-4 birthday parties in a month. This did not include extended family and friends hosting a gathering or get together/party. So yup I was a true shop-aholic. Ebay helped me with that. Lordy why does this sound like a therapy session? hehehe.

Anyhow, I just had to say I am so glad ebay will be taking my powerseller status away. That was truely freaking me out! lol

Well it's time for a shameful Plug In of my Auctions. Honestly this has been my very first plug in so I don't feel too too shameful. lol.

 

I've got a girls size 10,10/12 HUGE Collection for Summer Into Fall wear that is about to end in 4hours. Everything in the collection is BRAND NEW & INCLUDES BRAND NEW SHOES. I've got 18 watchers but no bidders. So I'm here in a desperate plea to drum up some activity with this auction.

Well the gist of it is I was working on my auction last night and was in a rush to get my auction done and listed so that I could go to a late dinner with the hubby. This morning I went to check my auction to see how it was going and noticed my reserve price wasn't showing like it normally would when placing a reserve on my auctions. In my idiotic rush to get some alone time with my hubby I missed placing a reserve on my auction even though I state in the description of the auction that I have a reserve. I can't change my auction description now or settings because there has been a bid placed on it. I've emailed the bidder and asked them whether they would be understanding if I were to cancel their bid in order to revise my auction and place my reserve as I normally would have and stated that I have in my listing. I am waiting back to hear from her so I'm trying to think positive. I am an idiot! lol. Thats all I could say to myself this morning. Then I tried not to think badly of the hubby, not that it was any of his doing, ALL MINE, Stupid stupid stupid. But I am hoping to earn enough mula with the next couple of auctions to surprise him with a ticket to watch his favorite football team as an early Christmas Gift. Dallas Cowboys all the way! lol. Well thats basically it. My chest hurts. lol. I think I'm stressing and its not that bad. lol. Ok thanks all for the ear. Have a goodmorning and good day everyone!

Hi Everyone,

I hope someone can help me. I have been trying for the last 3 days to contact another ebay member (yeppers4me) to tell her I sent her the information she requested to her regular email account with yahoo. I know she hasn't checked her yahoo email account because I've been still recieving emails from her through ebay. What I don't understand is that I can't respond to any of her emails but she can email me using the ask seller a question format. But when I try to contact her to tell her I sent her an email already I keep getting a "Attention ebay message" cannot be sent to member because I am not currently involved in a transaction with her. But other people have emailed me through ebay as well that I haven't done transactions with and I can contact them. I've been worried because I don't want her to feel that I am being rude or ignoring her when I trully am not. I have no idea how else to reach yeppers4me to speak to her. If anyone has any information or ideas I really really would appreciate it. Thank you.

Earlier last week I was blasting the week away with all of the bad incidents that had occurred. I needed to apologize to one of the bidders I had complained about, sabrinak722. When I had gone on the way I had it was written before I'd heard back from her about whether she would pay for the auction or not. As I speak (type) now lol, we've somewhat resolved the issue. She will be paying for the auction this Tuesday and on my end I will switch out all the bottoms in the lot because her son wears a size 16 and not 14s. So things are going to end on a positive note but it was bothering me that I'd said the things I had said before waiting to hear back from her and I was wrong to do that. I do apologize for that. Thats it. Other than that things are going good on my end so far. Kids will start school Monday, (thank goodness!) I need the break. lol. I think I might take a little break from selling. Its been kinda stressful so I feel like I just need to step back from it all and try to relax again. I began loving selling on ebay and now I just feel a little overwhelmed with it all. But don't quote me on taking the break, lol. My niece still wants me to do her sells so I'm not sure how much of a break I'll be taking. Ok thats it for now. Thanks for the ears all.

Just had to comment on the big change in blog land. Not sure I like the change either. It seems a little confusing but I guess I just have to get use to it again. HAVE A GOOD, PROSPEROUS AND PEACE FILLED DAY EVERYONE!

It just feels like someones out to get me for some reason.(exagerating...i think) So first bad experience of the week is an auction i had listed and sold for the buy it now price was removed because the buyer "supposedly" got her i.d stollen and all sorts of buy it now auctions had been purchased for kids clothes. I would have been more inclined to believe it except for the fact that she had regular purchases and bids that were not cancelled by ebay because those she states infact that she was or is currently bidding on to win. How is that possible that interspersed with all of the supposedly hacked bids are her regular shopping that she says she is bidding on? If her account had been hacked in to would then she notice that she had items purchased that she herself had not purchased? All biddings were during a 5 day period in which she had regular items that she herself was bidding on mixed in with items she states a hacker was bidding on in her name.

So the result is that ebay will reinstate all of my fees lost which that I am grateful for since it cost to list these big lots. But the frustration for me is not so much the monetary issue as it is the fact that I feel like she was lieing.Since I keep an eye on all my bidders from the first day on I had my listing for 7 days and the supposed hacked i.d had been doing regular bids on my auction before taking the buy it now option on the fifth day. But prior to that I had been checking their bidding history and from day one of my auction they had been bidding and purchasing other items that were paid for and doing the buy it now option for other sellers selling kids lot of clothes.So I don't believe her account was hacked because she would have seen from day one what was going on with her account and not wait til 9 days later to finally file a complaint.

Now second bad experience, and this is for the same lot. Again I relisted the same auction for 7 days as well as making it a featured item.Well now the item has ended and the winning bidder emails me to tell me that she did not bid on the auction and infact believes her 14yr old son bidded on the auction without her permission. Again, hard to believe that this is the case considering that the auction was listed for 7 days and her i.d had been bidding on the auction from day 2 til ending date. I am fed up now but still trying to be accomodating since I know things do happen. I asked her if she would be paying for the auction and explained that it cost $25.45 to list these type auctions with featured listings etc and that it would cost another $25.45 to relist it, putting me at a loss of $50+. I have tried to do the second chance offers to the 2 other bidders below her i.d with no acceptance from either one. Ebay only refunds insertion fees and not special features for listing or extras which i think is unfair considering it is not our fault a buyer is not willing to pay. Now I am just sitting here annoyed, frustrated and just feeling downright stressed. Ok, I think I've vented enough lol. Again with one of my very very long blogs. Sorrrrryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy.... just needed to get everything off of my chest so I could breath again.
