Painting Landscapes with Jerry Yarnell HUGE BOOK

Looking for that perfect gift for your aspiring artist, or maybe for yourself?  We  have a very unique book up for auction on eBay.  Easily accessible from iwantmorebooks.com, here's the item page.

This is "Painting Landscapes with Jerry Yarnell" hardcover very thick and heavy painting instruction book. Printed in 2005, 500+ pages. Perfect condition. Dust jacket has a ding to bottom right corner. You can remove the dust jacket and the book itself has the same images and information on it and is in perfect condition. I have searched high and low and cannot find this book anywhere on the internet! The book contains four of Jerry Yarnell's popular painting instruction books, all in one hardcover book!

Includes: Painting Magic... Painting Techniques... Painting Adventures... Learning Composition. Plus there is a full gallery of the included THIRTY-FOUR painting projects contained in this huge book! The individual books contained in this large volume retail for $19.99 EACH! You can have the entire four book set in a single volume for a reduced price!

Jerry Yarnell's friendly instruction as seen on PBS, guides you through every step, from initial sketch to final adjustments, while steering you clear of potential trip-ups. A "Getting Started" section offers tips for working happily with acrylics. You'll learn to paint many subjects- ripples on water, trees, dramatic sunrays, figures, stone walls, old barns, quiet farmhouses, romantic covered bridges, a lone cabin, rustic fences, and a variety of wildlife. My favorite painting is of an eagle on a branch at sunset. Jerry will show you how to capture the look and spirit of every season. Learn how to master some of nature's most challenging elements, including dramatic cloud formations, foliage and water reflections. You'll also gain a real working understanding of things like composition, perspective and working with a limited palette.

This is an amazing book, perfect as a Christmas gift!

Chemo Caps & Winter Hats

Here in the Pacific Northwest my knitting needles are 'singing' as I knit new Chemo Caps and Winter Hats for our auctions and store!

The Chemo Caps are soft and fuzzy and knit in wonderful, cheerful colors.  The winter hats are warm, vibrant colors, and easy care.   Just toss in the washer and dryer!   I also knit slippers using an "old-fashioned" pattern, and Dust Mitts that are not only useful but fun. These hats, slippers and dust mitts make great Christmas gifts!  Hand knit items are much more durable than the imported machine knits, and will last a lifetime.

Visit our Hand Knitted Items category in our eBay store to see our present selections.  If you don't see the colors you want, just send an email and we will be happy to knit one up for you!  Wishing you a warm winter!  :)

How To Build A Yurt Book

I have always been fascinated by the Mongolian yurt. There is a company in Washington state called Pacific Yurts that makes and sells the yurt that you assemble on your property. They are fabulous but expensive, around $8000! This book, How To Build A Yurt, shows you how to build your own yurt without the $8000 expense! Based on the traditional Mongolian nomadic houses, the book takes you through the entire building process, from gathering your materials, to cutting the pieces and making the covering, to final assembly. Very detailed and specific. We have the book listed right now. Click the link to check it out. I don't believe this book is in publication anymore.

Meet the Pacific Northwest Booksellers!

Iwantmorebooks.com is a Mother-Daughter team of booksellers on eBay.  We reside in the Pacific Northwest and sell books worldwide! Our eBay User name is BountifulBooks.  Here is our story:

My name is Terri, I'm the "Mom" portion of this team.  I've been a Navy Wife for the past 43 years.  As the saying goes "Join the Navy and see the world", and it is really true!  We lived all over the world, and have experiences and memories that have shaped our lives.  My sailor, Doug,  passed away  a few years ago and my daughter and eBay partner, Beth, and I started selling on eBay to downsize my home of some of the many possessions I no longer needed.  Our business grew and we focused on books to sell.    We started out offering  How-To books, and needlework books, but have branched out to include every imaginable topic or type of book.  I used to own a needlework store and had literally tons of needlework books and booklets to de-stash, so that is where we started.  My main focus on books the last couple of years has been on Needlework books and Large Print books.  I love to knit and read, so I'm my own best customer!  We enjoy our interaction with customers from around the world, and we strive to be honest and forthright, especially within our eBay dealings.  It has been a fun journey watching our business flourish and grow and hope you will enjoy what we have to offer you, our reading friends!

My name is Beth, and I am the daughter half of our team. I've been a Navy brat from birth and proud of it! Having travelled all over the world, I settled in Puget Sound, Washington where my husband and I have been raising our four children. We are homesteaders and homeschoolers, very much of the do-it-yourselfer crowd. Our current goal is to purchase a five acre homestead where we can raise some farm animals and grow a self-suffient garden along with a fruit orchard. I love to read and probably read about every tenth book we list. Our children, ranging in age from 11 to 17, all help out with book sales and moving boxes of inventory around the office areas. They are real sports! I love to hear from other ebayers, both buyers and sellers. BTW, if you haven't heard the Weird Al Yankovich "Ebay" song, go find it on the web. It's hysterical!!! We hope you find some books in our ebay store that you can't live without. Take your time browsing and feel free to contact us if you are looking for something specific.
