DISNEY WORLD ON A SHOESTRING BUDGET???

My little boy has been asking to go to Disney World...what kid doesn't want to go...right?  Anyway,  to say that my funds are limited would be a gross understatement but I am trying to put back a little each week to take him at the end of the year.  I would love to have any tips that you have for saving money.   We really need to stay on site for lots of reasons but I'm more than willing to stay at the cheapest place.  I've been checking out the All Star hotels and would love some information.  The last time I was at Disney it was 12 years ago and we stayed at the Grand Floridian. It was awesome but that isn't even a consideration...lol.  If you have taken a budget Disney trip,  I would love a little information.  I don't know if it's possible to save on tickets, food, etc.  But, I know there are other budget conscience parents out there who have that information.  Please share and help me make a little boy's fondest dream come true!

Yes! There are many people on Ebay who sell packages. They are timeshare but I did it once and it worked like a charm. See seller bigdogvacations. You get 3 or 4 days plus two free disney tickets. It is timeshare so you do have to go to a hour and a half sales presentation, but it is well worth it as it saves about $400.00 overall. You are under no obligation to buy (I did'nt) and I got my tickets and stay as promised. Good Luck!

Hi! I have purchased from you before, and I go to church with your mom. Every year, there is a time frame that Disney offers a free meal plan. You can stay on site at one of the all star resorts for about $99 per night. If you could go during that time and get a free dining plan, that would save you a lot! Hope this helps! :o)

Hey, if you do get to go to DISNEY the best time to go is mid-September to late October, mid-January to mid-February, or wait until May. We live very near and it is so awfully crowded around the holidays and school break times... you can't even step w/o bumping people and since your little one has all the joys and fears of Autisim, than I would pick a time when the parks are less crowded that way he can truly experience the magic and sights of the place. We went during Christmas break one year and we HATED it. we also went during October and loved it it was so much less crowded. I hope this helps, I would also contact the parks and see if they offer a package and any perks that you could use together.
