Most Recent Posts LIFE AFTER SURGERYPosted 29-Jul-08 18:07:40 BST Updated 29-Jul-08 18:09:09 BST I HAVE survived ! There was a little scare, they gave me a nitro-pill and kept me an extraday. But I needed rest so they let me go home. The ride out of town was as bad as the anticipation of surgery ! Baltimore needs a road fill. I have never been in so many pot-holes! Thank You all again for your kind words of encouragement, I am sure they helped me through! I am having SURGERY !Posted 11-Jul-08 17:56:42 BST HELLO MY Sellers,Your CUSTOMER here,3013lee-DonnaLee I will be having SURGERY! on Tuesday July 15 I AM SCARED! hopefully all will go well .The odds are with me.I am told my surgeon is one of the best in the country.I am told my hospital is one of the best in the country.I have spoken to a recent patient of a similar SURGERY! by the same surgeon at the same hospital who is doing very well just two weeks after SURGERY! Just the thought of someone "putting me to sleep" (thats what happens to a pet when they are unable to continue to live) then to give someone permission to CUT ME OPEN! All my life I have been trying to prevent anything from CUTTING me, now they want me to sign over exclusive rites to do so.I guess that is why they say things like anesthesia and incision when they mean,WE ARE GOING TO PUT YOU OUT AND CUT YOU OPEN, in hopes of fixing your ailment! Wish me luck? THANK YOU,YOUR CUSTOMER,DonnaLee-3013lee |
